Hi everybody! You’ve made it to the about page of my blog, where I, the author, will tell you a little bit about myself. It won’t be fun, but I assure you we can make it through to the end together.

My name is Michael Morey. I’m a 21 year old advertising and public relations student currently in my fourth year of study at Grand Valley State University. I’ve set this blog up as a course requirement of my technology in advertising course, and if you couldn’t already tell, I have no idea what I’m doing- please bear with me. I’m a fairly lackluster human being, but that won’t stop me from sharing a few menial details with the devoted readers of this site. I grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, which is a wonderfully diverse city neighboring west of Detroit. A couple interesting facts about myself (or, at least the two I usually default to sharing with a class on the first day) are that I can write fairly legibly with both hands and I have a twin brother. Some of my favorite things to do are go skateboarding, draw, paint, listen to music, and take photos. I also like to maintain an active, healthy (as I can be) lifestyle and find comfort in working out at my university’s fitness center 4-6 times a week. In complete contradiction to the preceding sentence, some of my favorite foods are pizza, burritos, sushi, mozzarella sticks, pasta, and ice cream.

Mainly, I will use this blog to create warm, heartfelt musings in relations to all things advertising, public relations, and technology. From current trends to exciting findings, I plan to share my knowledge with you as fantastically as I can. That’s all for now, thanks for reading the About Me page, and I sincerely hope you will enjoy the rest of my blog.
